The debrief

When the exercise ends, the AI assesses all six of your decisions. You see Generating your debrief… while it works. This takes a few moments.

Your score

The debrief opens with a score out of 100, a rating and a star count. The rating always follows these bands:

ScoreRatingStars
90 to 100Expert5
75 to 89Proficient4
60 to 74Competent3
40 to 59Developing2
0 to 39Poor1

What the debrief contains

  • Incident narrative. A summary of how the incident unfolded.
  • Strengths. What your team did well.
  • Areas for improvement. Where your response fell short.
  • Prioritisation. For each turn, what you started (or resourced on Pro and Enterprise) and what you deferred, with the impact of each deferral. It ends with How a mature team would sequence it. On Pro and Enterprise it can also suggest a stronger allocation of people and show people lost or brought in.
  • Regulatory note. The obligations your decisions triggered, for your region. Crisis exercises show a Legal & insurance note instead.
  • Threat actor attribution. For exercises against a named threat actor.
  • Checklist preview. On Pro and Enterprise, a preview of the checklist in the PDF report: Defensive checklist preview, Preparedness checklist preview for crisis, or Resilience checklist preview for third-party resilience.

What to do next

  • Select Download PDF report to save the full report. See Reports.
  • Select Run another exercise to go back to scenario selection.

Completed exercises are saved to your account. On Pro and Enterprise you can find them later in Exercise history.

If something goes wrong

  • Couldn’t generate the debrief: select Retry.
  • Not saved to your exercise history: the debrief was produced but could not be saved. Download the PDF report before you leave the page, then contact support@adversary-x.com with the message shown.

The debrief is written by AI. Treat it as a structured starting point for your own review, not as legal or regulatory advice.
